Highland Hospital is a major center of tertiary specialized health care in the city of Mangalore since 1995. Our institution is dedicated to provide highest quality of healthcare service to the society. Through the latter years of running the hospital, both the management and the doctors associated with the hospital, decided to expand their vision of service into the field of health education. This will cater to the increasing need of competent and sincere health service providers that our society lacks. We began with Nursing; with an aim to provide quality nursing education. The Chairman of Highland Hospital Dr. Abdul Rahman C.P. along with its group of doctors headed by Dr. Sayyid Mohammed (Senior Cardiologist) and Dr. Alam Nawaz (physician) – in early 2019; took over The Mangalore College of Nursing which was established in the year 1998 under the “Ullal Charitable Trust”.
We have decided not only to take the college forward. but also to improve it in every aspect. We have shifted the college premises to a new campus along with new hostels. From academic year 2021 onwards, we are establishing the
new ‘Mangalore College of Allied Health Sciences’ for paramedical courses. All these courses have immense job opportunities across the globe. Our aim is to offer Compassionate Health Education through Trust, Quality andCare.
Mangalore is a quaint coastal city on the southernmost tip of Karnataka, bordering Kerala. It is well known as a hub of Educational, Health and Financial Institutions.
